Your Questions About Therapy Answered
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. My work is grounded in evidence-based care, while still feeling human, compassionate, and individualized.
I support individuals 13+, including teens, young adults, and adults.
I help people who are experiencing challenges such as:
Anxiety & depression
Relationship or marital struggles
Teen mental health & parent support
Chronic pain & chronic illness
Attachment challenges, low self-esteem & body image issues
OCD, trauma, and other emotional patterns that feel difficult to manage
Most clients describe our work as deep, exploratory, and relaxed.
We don’t just manage symptoms - we look at what’s beneath them, while building meaningful skills along the way. Therapy becomes a place where you can:
Understand yourself on a deeper level
Feel safe being real
Connect the mind and body, not just your thoughts
Work toward lasting change rather than “quick fixes”
Right now, we're 100% virtual, which means you can connect from the comfort of your home. I do plan to offer an in-person office in York Region in the future!
Over time, clients often share that they:
Feel more like themselves again
Understand where their patterns come from
Have a more positive outlook on life
Feel clearer, calmer, and more grounded
Trust themselves more deeply
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you — it’s about reconnecting to who you truly are.

Yes - many insurance plans cover therapy with a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). While we don’t provide direct billing, you will receive a receipt to submit for reimbursement through your insurance provider.
Most clients meet weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your needs, goals, and schedule. Consistency helps us build momentum, but therapy should fit your life, not overwhelm it. We can always adjust the frequency as things change — whether you need extra support during a difficult time or feel ready to space sessions out more as you grow.
